Volunteers are essential to the success of Second Step Housing. The time, commitment and expertise you bring make a powerful impact in the lives of the men, women and families we serve. There are many ways to make a difference. We invite you to contact us and learn more about Second Step Housing. You can also register for a small-group guided tour of select Second Step Housing properties and learn about Second Step Housing’s transitional and permanent housing options.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
The WORTH Program relies on caring volunteers and community resources to provide support and encouragement to people incarcerated in the Clark County Corrections Center and the Clark County Work Center.
We periodically need volunteers to help with various tasks, especially before large events or donation mailings.
Collaborating with businesses, individuals, and non-profits organizations in the community is vital to finding resources we need to continue our work. If you have expertise in marketing, energy, and ideas, give us a call!
5th Annual Run Like a Girl for Second Step Housing, a 5K, 10K & Kids Run/Walk, taking place at the Historic Hangar near Pearson Air Museum on June 11. Oppurtunities to Volunteer include Pre race needs and day of. Details here
