Women Helping Women
What is it?
An adult mentoring program that matches Second Step residents with community women who provide companionship, encouragement, and role modeling.
Mentors and mentees regularly meet casually to socialize. Second Step, or the mentors as a group, may also occasionally coordinate group activities for mentors and mentees to share.
If you'd like to see more photos of our events, check out some from our Women Helping Women holiday events in 2011 .
Application
Interested Second Step residents must apply for a mentor. However, because we want to make an appropriate match, a mentor may not be available immediately. Through our recruiting activities, we will seek a suitable mentor and provide support to ensure a positive match.
If you have questions, or to receive an application, contact Martha Brett at 360-798-5415 or mbrett@secondstephousing.org.
