How You Can Help Second Step
Monetary Donations
Second Step couldn’t do the work we do without the generous support of our community. Financial contributions are accepted and appreciated all year round. Below are example of how your dollars help women, children, and families in Clark County.
- $50 could buy a set of new, clean sheets for a child to sleep on.
- $75 could provide warmth and electricity for one family during a month of winter weather.
- $150 could pay for supportive services such as interview clothes, job searches, and resume writing classes for two women who are seeking living-wage employment.
- $500 could help ensure that the next generation grows up with the skills they need to succeed by providing parenting classes and child-care for one family.
"Thank you so much for the opportunity that you've extended to myself and my daughter. You greeted us with beautiful new bedding and a living situation with our needs in mind. Thank you!" —Elizabeth

Partnerships
Second Step Housing is excited to announce a new partnership with Stand Realty, a real estate company operating in Clark County, dedicated to doing business a little differently. Every time they make a sale, 25% of that commission is donated directly to a charity or non-profit organization in the name of their customer. That means that if you or someone you know complete a real estate transaction with Stand Realty, you can select Second Step Housing to receive the funds. Considering that a typical real estate commission is around $6000, simply using their services will provide us with nearly $1500. The brokers at Stand Realty are experienced with high character and professionalism and are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Please tell your friends and family about this new opportunity; help make a difference by calling Stand Realty at 360-891-9000 or email Gregg@standrealty.com.
